The last day of our stay in Xi'an. We had our closing ceremony today and the rest of the day was spent in packing,
The closing ceremony was an informal event where all of us, the CSC participants, our clients and our NGO implementation partner, VSO shared our experiences over the last 4 weeks and said thanks to each other. All of our clients spoke about how the IBMers showed passion towards the projects and the professionalism with which we worked. They also mentioned how the recommendations provided by all the teams will help them grow and it felt really wonderful that maybe, we were able to make a difference. Our clients invited us to spend the evening them to explore another part of the city followed by dinner. So, we went exploring the city even on the last day :)
Finally, it was time to say goodbye to everyone. We could have never imagined that we will all become so close to each other in such a short period of time. But, we spent last 30 days together. We worked together and had fun together. It was really an emotional moment when we all met in the hotel lobby and hugged each other. Some of us had tears in the eyes. I hope we get to meet our team members in the future somewhere in the world.
