Almost done...

The excitement for the in-country assignment grows with just a few more days to go before I depart for China...can't wait to meet everyone there...

All the preparation is almost done. Our pre-work Edvisor modules are also complete. We covered a range of topics from cultural sensitivity to consulting techniques in these modules and I must say, these have been prepared very well by the CSC Program Management team.

Last week, we got to know the names of our interpreters who will be assisting us during the assignment in China. Bei Qiuyu (Lisa) is the interpreter for our sub-group and we had an introduction call with her. Her English is quite good and she also sounds excited about working with us on the project. I am sure she will be of great help.

We also received the Arrival information package from Shen Shuo (our NGO partner) today which has all the required information like our pickup from the Airport, Hotel information, Agenda for the first 3 days etc. Everything seems to be quite well planned by VSO!

Our sub-group has been researching on some background material for our project. The clients added one more requirement to the SOW and it will be interesting to work on it. They are looking for us to recommend the industry best practices for Entrepreneurship Incubation Service Models. They have some idea of what they would like to do but they want us to add to that and help them develop it further...interesting, isn't it? :D

I hope we are able to provide some meaningful inputs and help them achieve their goals...

All my shopping is done except just one thing...what gift to take for everyone! I would like to gift everyone something which India is known for and which would remind them of me even after we go home from China...still thinking!
